[FAQ's]
Skip intermission sequences
Hold L + R + click
Left Analog-stick +
click Right Analog-stick
when a intermission sequence is going.
Easy mone
On Day 55, you will have a chance to only fight drones for 3,000
to 4,000 Neo Yen each. It is just possible to make well over 3 million
Neo Yen with these fights.
When you go into an arena and do not have much money, shoot all
the explosive barrels, cars, vans, buses, and small signs to receive a
lot of Neo Yen swiftly. You can also shoot the yellow dropships that
deploy the power-ups for 10,000 Neo Yen each. When the yellow
dropships do drop the powerups, make sure to always grab the blue
power-ups, as they are worth plenty of Neo Yen.
Note:
Some buses,
cars, and vans can be shot twice before they are demolished, thus giving
you twice the money for shooting them. Make sure that you shoot them
once again after they stop smoking.
When you are at the town map screen, place the little "snowboarder" pointer
over the garage area. Then rotate the
Right Analog-stick ten times
in any direction to gain 1,000 Neo Yen.
Note:
You can only do this
once every day.
Invincibility
When you first start the game, and are at the main menu press X, Y, B,
A, Back, White, Up, Down, Up,
Down,. If entered
properly, you will be
invincible through the duration of the game.
Note:
You will have to enter
this code each time you play the game.
Cheat mech
Futher on in the game (Day 20 to 30) the used shop Wild Mechanics
will have a used SV with quad legs, heavy core, and one arm cannon
with a cost of 1,500,000 Neo Yen.
Better mechs
The Scobee companies in the game will have a special mech with better
weapons available on the days that are a multiple of six. For example,
Day 6, 12, 18 through 60.
Finish the game to obtain a "Clear" saved game. A
special mech will now appear on days that are a prime number.
Hints & Tips
Easier tactics
When you are in the first arena, just run around in a circle, getting any
power-ups that pop up. There are side garages you can
"pull into" to have your Optical Camouflage recharge.
When you are in the second arena, drop into the large circular hole and wait
for power-ups, killing enemies that appear.
When you are in the third area, start on the gate to the right. Then, hide
behind the area where you start at.
Keep your money
The easiest way to keep the money you make and not have to repair, is to
go back into a gate (like the one you came in from). If it does not
open, bump into it and it will.
Suggested Scoobie for all Bosses
The suggested Scoobie is a Holy with two Javelin Laser Beams.
Note:
These are not the shoulder ones, They are the arm ones that can be
gotten from the "special Mechs" that appear on the days that are a
multiple of six from Ventuno. Also equip a Heavy Heavy (attempt to
max it out), Hover Legs, and 30 mm armor. Also, a Light Light body
(roughly 35 light) and a Heavy Heavy (maxed out for damage)
Slingshot in case the Boss becomes invisible. Then wait until you
have a clear shot at the Boss. Use one arm until it is used up then
switch to the other arm. This should take them out. If not, wait
until they recharge then do it once again.
Stage 1: Suggested camping location
Proceed to the first stage on rumble (the city) and climb onto roofs
for a great camping spot, if you get high enough. Just make sure you
have a slingshot to shoot from the roof.
Stage 2:
Suggested
camping location
When you are in the second stage underground, there is a hugge round room
with a ramp that spirals down the wall. At the bottom of this
ramp is a nice spot to camp out underneath. Even better, an
ammo, health, and New Yen drop point is exactly in front of you
when you do hide here.
Stage 3: Hiding location
Jump onto the "high rise" in front of you when you first
go into
the level. Jump up there and walk around to the left, then look
around. You should see a passageway for you to go through. Now go into
it halfway. This is a good spot to let O.C. recharge or wait.
It's best to start at the right gate. Then after you exit the gate,
jump on top of the place that displays the screen of your Scoobies.
Now hide behind the screen. You can hit anything on your side from this
spot, and also use the screen as a shield. Now and then you will
also see the yellow ship that drops off things. You can demolish it
for 10000 Neo Yen each.
