Rocky Marciano power-up
In a Slugfest, battle as Rocky Marciano. Then press Triangle + Circle and Rocky will appear to power up his gloves. His will be more powerful. Note: This effect will eventually wear off.

Evander Holyfield invincibility
In a Slugfest, fight as Evander Holyfield. Then press Triangle + Circle and he will beat his chest. This makes him invincible to nearly all punches. Note: This effect will wear off eventually.

Fight as Judge Mills Lane
Go to the options screen and view the "Cyber Athlete" video sequence. Then proceed to the exhibition mode and get disqualified on purpose. Mills Lane will be unlocked as a middle weight boxer.

Fight as Jermiane Dupri
As a name input JERMAINE DUPRI at the boxer creation screen to fight as Jermiane Dupri, the hip-hop musician. Then press Circle while at the pre-fight ranking screen to save the boxer for use later in career and exhibition modes.

Fight as Q-Tip
As a name input Q TIP at the boxer creation screen to battle as Q-Tip from the band A Tribe Called Quest. Press Circle at the pre-fight ranking screen to save the boxer for use later in career and exhibition modes.

Miniature boxers
Go to the options screen and view the "Cyber Athlete" video sequence. Then proceed to the career mode and input MINIME as a name to miniaturize every boxer. To go back to normal size, input RESETPASS as a name in career mode.

Throbbing boxer heads
As a name input THROB at the boxer creation screen.

Fight as Tim Duncan
As a name input TIM DUNCAN while at the boxer creation screen to battle as Tim Duncan from the San Antonio Spurs. Then press Circle at the pre-fight ranking screen to save the boxer for use in career and exhibition modes.

Marlon Wayans
As a name input MARLON WAYANS while at the boxer creation screen to fight as Marlon Wayans, the comedian. Then press Circle at the pre-fight ranking screen to save the boxer for use in career and exhibition modes.

Gargoyle
As a name input GARGOYLE while at the boxer creation screen to fight as a gargoyle. Then press Circle at the pre-fight ranking screen to save the boxer for use in career and exhibition modes.

Alien
As a name input ROSWELL while at the boxer creation screen to fight as a gargoyle. Then press Circle at the pre-fight ranking screen to save the boxer for use in career and exhibition modes.

Fight as O
As a name input O while at the boxer creation screen to fight as the musician that performed most of the game music. Then press Circle while at the pre-fight ranking screen to save the boxer for later use in career and exhibition modes.

Fight as Marc Ecko
As a name input MARC ECKO while at the boxer creation screen to battle  as Marc Ecko, the founder of the Ecko line of clothes. Then press Circle at the pre-fight ranking screen to save the boxer for use in career and exhibition modes.

Shamcko The Clown
As a name input SHMACKO at the boxer creation screen to fight as a gargoyle. Then press Circle at the pre-fight ranking screen to save the boxer for use in career and exhibition modes.

280 lb. Super Heavyweight fighter
Select "Heavyweight" while at first fighter attribute screen in career mode. Set the fighter's weight to "230". Then press X to go to second fighter attributes screen. Switch the fighter's body style from "1" to "2". Then press Triangle to return to first attributes screen, and the fighter's weight can now be set anywhere from 230 to 280 lbs.

Illegal kick
Press Triangle + Circle + X + Square while in a match to illegally kick your opponent in the midsection.

Illegal head butt
Press R1 + R2 and press Triangle while in a match.

Ed Mahone
As a name input ED MAHONE at the boxer creation screen to fight as Ed Mahone.

Switch from left and right hands
Hold R1, R2, and L2 to change from being left-handed to right-handed and vice versa.

Illegal elbow
Press R1 + R2 and press Square while in a match.

Get up faster
Press Analog-stick Down + X after being knocked down to get up quicker.

Keep boxer down for entire count
Keep pressing Start while the referee is counting.

Illegal low punch
Press R1 + R2 and press X while in a match.

Illegal kidney punch
Press R1 + R2 and press Circle while in a match.

Hints & Tips

Faster knock outs
At the start of each fight, you can land four head butts at most. Your opponent will probably be bleeding if not, he will get knocked out a lot quicker.
