Left-handed golfer
Press Select,
Square,
then press X
or Start
when you are selecting a golfer.
Taunting
Begin a game in two player mode, then press the D-pad
or Circle
+ X
+ Triangle
+ Square
while the other player is at the tee.
Cheat mode
As a player name input 2GSH
to access all characters, courses, balls and clubs, goodies, and the
"Top-Pro" level. With the "Top-Pro" status, it
also unlocks difficulties. As
a player name input 2GE
in the European or Australian (PAL) versions of the game.
In-game reset
Press L1
+ R1
+ L2
+ R2
+ Start
+ Select
while playing.
Japanese version
golfer
Finish the game in versus mode, or activate the "Cheat
mode" code. Select stroke or match play. Hold Select
to choose a color, then hold Triangle
and press X.
Different colors
Each character has a particular color which is displayed with Select
in stroke or match play.
Sam: Purple
Mel: Light green
Cedric: Yellow
Jessie: Black
For example, pick
purple for Sam, hold Select
on that color, then hold Triangle
and press X
or Start.
You will now have a new right handed character to use. For a left
handed character, hold Select
on his or her color, hold Triangle,
then hold Square
and press X
or Start.
Note:
All characters have to be beaten in the second round of versus mode
before this can be done.
Hints & Tips
Easier win in
versus mode
Start to play in versus mode, either win or tie the first hole,
then save the game. Play the second hole. If your opponent beats
you, go back to the saved game. If you win or draw, save the game
once again. Repeat this on every hole to ensure a easier victory.
