Dance Dance Revolution

Note: This is the Dance Dance Revolution game from (NA), not the Japanese version.

Secret mode
Choose arcade or arrange mode. Then press Up or Select while at the difficulty selection screen. The codes below can now be entered at the secret mode screen.

Double mode
Press Up(2x's), Down(2x's), Left, Right, Left, Right while at the secret mode screen.

Special modes
Press Start while at the song selection screen until a little box comes up. You may now choose if you want stealth arrows, small arrows, mirror mode, and little characters, etc.

Another mode
Press Up(2x's), Down(2x's), Up(2x's), Down(2x's) while at the secret mode screen.

Maniac mode
Press Left(2x's), Right(2x's), Left(2x's), Right(2x's) while at the secret mode screen.

Double, unison, single or versus modes
Press Circle to select "Game Mode" while at the main title screen. A box with those options will appear.

More characters
Press Up or Down while at the character selection screen to display more characters.

Slow training mode arrows
Hold Start while playing in training mode. The music and arrows should slow down. When the music and arrows are at its slowest, both music and arrows will go back to normal.

Dancing workout girls
Highlight the "Workout mode" option while at the main menu, then hold Square + Circle. Skip the workout settings and go to the characters. The characters will be performing their dances instead of being still models.

Control credits
When in the credits, you can move the spinning cube by using the arrows on the mat or the D-pad. You can also press X and Circle to spin it. Press R1 or L1 to make the spinning cube zoom into you. Press R2 or L2 to make the spinning cube zoom to the other screens.

Mirror mode
Press Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right while at the secret mode screen.

Secret characters
Highlight "Arcade mode" or "Arrange mode" while at the main menu. Then hold Left and press Circle. For a second set of characters, hold Right and press Circle.

Control training mode menu
While in training mode, press R1 or L1 while selecting the options to play around with the menu. You can also watch the numbers during this.

Hints & Tips

Automatically fail yourself during a song
At any time during any song, hold Select for a brief period of time and the game will fail you automatically and go back to the main menu. This works even if "Game Over During Song" is disabled.
