Look around table
Just hold R1 while your adjusting the shot direction.

Adjust camera angle
Just hold L1 while your adjusting the shot direction.

Fine shot adjustment
Just hold L2 while your adjusting the shot direction to move the pointer more accurately.

Overhead view
Just hold Triangle while you line up a shot.

Change shot height
Hold Square while lining up a shot. This also can be used to make dishonest shots. For example, hit the ball very far past the middle to chip it or break very fast to hit a ball off the table.

Backspin
Just hold Circle + Up or Down to put some backspin on the ball.

Side spin
Just hold Circle + Left or Right to put some side spin on the ball.
