Different costumes
Simply hold Start while your choosing a fighter when your at the character selection screen.

Control replay
Simply hold Punch + Guard after a round, to view a closer replay.

Battle mode option
Access and win each of the underground tournaments in quest mode at the Event Square. AM2 Cup, Combo Contest, Combo Maniax, Counter Challenge, Hyper Action Battle, Iron Fight, Knockdown Clash, Mirror Match, Seesaw Game, Survival Tournament, Ultimate Battle, Venus Cup, Wall Death Match, and Wrestler's Battle. The "Battle Mode" option will now be available.

Original Sega audio
Just hold Square + Circle just prior to the Sega logo appears to listen to the original "Sega" audio from Sonic The Hedgehog.

Different victory poses
Purchase the new poses from the shop in quest mode. Then, hold Punch + Guard or Punch + Guard + D-pad in a replay to select five different victory poses. Note: Not every character will have all five new poses. Brad and Goh do not have any different poses.

Purchase the old win pose 1 from the shop in quest mode. Then, hold Punch + Kick through a replay.

Purchase the old win pose 2 from the shop in quest mode. Then, hold Kick + Guard through a replay.

Fight as Dural
Get to the Sega Area Uptown stage in quest mode. You can now buy the ability to fight as Drual from the shop. Then, highlight the top left blank corner space of the character selection screen in versus mode to choose Dural.

Different Dural stage music
Get to Dural's stage in arcade mode in under nine minutes to hear different music from when it is reached in a longer amount of time.

Fight Dural with glowing eyes
Get to Dural's stage in arcade mode with a total number of wins with a "9" as the last digit.

Original stages
Get to the Sega Area Uptown stage in quest mode to access the original Virtua Fighter 4 stages. Then hold Start at the versus mode stage selection screen while your choosing a stage to play the original version.

Training stage 1
Get to the Club Sega Bay Area stage in quest mode. Then press Left or Right when your at the versus mode stage selection screen until the Training stage 1 option is displayed.

Training stage 2
Get to the Sega World South stage in quest mode. Then press Left or Right when your at the versus mode stage selection screen until the Training stage 2 option is displayed.

Training stage 3
Get to the Club Sega Plant Area stage in quest mode. Then press Left or Right when your at the versus mode stage selection screen until the Training stage 3 option is displayed.

Training stage 4
Get to the Sega Area Midtown stage in quest mode. Then press Left or Right when your at the versus mode stage selection screen until the Training stage 4 option is displayed.

Virtua Fighter 10th Anniversary
First go to "Options" at the main menu, then select "Special". Now select the "Virtua Fighter 10th Anniversary" option to play that version of the game.

Virtua Fighter 2 character selection music
First select versus mode and choose a fighter that has the "Shouhaou" rank. Finish the match, and the music at the character selection screen will be from Virtua Fighter 2.

Sega! introduction
Hold Circle just before the Sega logo appears in demo mode to hear the original "Sega!" shout.

Virtua Fighter character model
Just buy this character model from the shop in quest mode. Then, hold Punch + Kick when your at at the character selection screen after you have choosen your fighter in arcade or versus mode.

Virtua Fighter-style health meter
Just select versus mode and have players one and two choose fighters in their Virtua Fighter character models.

Virtua Fighter stage
Simply buy this stage from the shop in quest mode. Now select versus mode, then highlight the top left corner space at the stage selection screen. Then select it to play the Virtua Fighter stage.

Hints & Tips

Pai: Easier wins
Pai may be a lightweight, but if you find her good qualities, then she will be one of the most powerful characters. One of her good qualities is her kicking moves. If your timing is perfect, you can block most of the opponent's strikes.

Orbs
After you get all seven Orbs they will disappear then reappear under the "Winner" sign. They will group together to create a chest, giving you a hidden item. Note: You will have to find them again to receive a second item.
