Hints & Tips
Beating Bosses A easy way to beat any Boss in the game is
to wait until seven or more of their helpers have been summoned.
So when you see eight or more of those orbs at the top
right hand side of the screen, execute a Tate and any Boss in the
game will be killed. Note:
You will not have seven or more minions to spawn at certain Bosses, like the two
helicopters and the giant spider at level 3B.
Beating Boss 3B This is the spider boss and the easiest. Simply
dodge
its attacks and wait for its little hench-spiders to
pop out. Swiftly kill all four and aim for the Boss. It is
necessary that Akujiki is glowing red. Then jump up at the
Boss and slash at the weak spot on its back. If done right,
you should go into a tate while in mid air, and all five enemies will
be killed.
Just use two of the three Makimonos you should have
gotten in the
level earlier. Then wait until eight of his minions appear and kill
just seven of them. Your sword should be red. Now jump up on
the wall and get near enough to jump off and slash at his abdomen.
Redo this until he is weak enough to use the final Makimono.
Then use it, and he will be killed.
Beating Bosses 3A through 8B Simply wait until all of the henchmen appear.
Then, kill every one as if you were going for a Tate. Now Akujiki should become
bright red after you have killed seven of the henchmen. The hard part is getting
the Boss to remain still after your sword becomes red. This may take a few
tries, but you will receive a large Boss bonus for killing them with just one
hit.
Beating Boss 1B Just stand on the ledge of the building you are
battling him on, and keep watching the Boss. When he gets near enough and
executes his dash attack on you, jump. He will fall off the ledge, lose a lot of
life, and you will not be harmed. When he summons Ninjas to help him, wait for
him to attack you. Jump, and let him fall off again. Then kill his Ninjas fast,
and return to your post on the ledge. Note that he can not die by just falling
so when his life is about gone, you will have to run in and kill him. If done
right, you will have killed him without taking one hit.
Just stand on the edge of the building. When he
comes at you with his
sword, jump up and he will fall off and lose a some
life. Do this two times and he will summon a few Ninjas to help him.
Now lock on to them by pressing R1 and
beat them fast.
Then, return to your post at the edge of the building and do again.
When his life reaches the point where falling off will not
harm him, wait until he gets next to you then use your ninja magic
to beat him.
Beating
Boss 3A You can either beat the five or six dogs then attack
him with the glowing Akujiki sword, or simply run past the dogs
and hit him from the side. You can also hit him three times before
he retreats into his take-out box. Hitting him in the side will cause
more harm than hitting him from the front. Hewill recover after
he returns from hiding.
Beat every normal enemy with Akujiki, and
save Kunais and Makimono until the Boss. Once you start the fight with the Boss,
constantly hit him with your Kunais until you have used only one set of them.
Then, if he is still paralyzed, blast him with your Ka'en Makimono. If done
right, doing this two to three times will end up in his death.
Beating Boss 4B To beat Benisuzme, you
need to have one to three Makimonos. You should have picked those up while
you were on stage 4B. When you first encounter Benisuzume, switch your Ninjutsu over to Kamaitachi. You will
now be able to use Kamaitachi six
times per Makimono. Then lock on Benisuzume and press
L2 to
hurl your attack at her. Once she is hit, swiftly jump from the
center platform to the wall. Pursue her on the walls, repeating
the lock-on method. Once you run out of Kamaitachi, jump back
to the center platform and wait for Benisuzume to summon her flying
moth minions. Now kill her minions until Akujiki glows purple. Then jump
on the walls again, run to Benisuzume, and slash at her. This will
take out more damage than a normal sword swipe to the head.
Note: Always refill your
Slash gauge and look out for your health. This method will take time. Also,
Kaven the exploding flame attack will have no effect on this flying demon.
Beating
Boss 6B If you can wait until the Boss lets out the seven little
heads, kill them to receive a full powered Akujiki. Then, slash
the Boss once and he will be dead.
Beating the last Boss Simply attack the crows. Then wait until you
have eight crows at once. When you beat the crows, you should have a pink waves
around it. Now attack him when you get to that level. Any other color will have
no effect. Keep on doing this and you should beat him.
Slice more than one opponent Have a group of enemies around you. If you are at the right angle, you can
slice all of them in the group.
Level 2B: Secret area When you start a level, there will be a building
on your left. Go next to it, then execute a double jump and a
speed dash over it. In there are two Hellspawn and two small "birdhouses"
with something in each.
Level 8B: Avoiding fights You can skip a few of the fights by throwing
Shuriken at the stone switches while your standing outside of the rooms.
In doing this, the enemies inside in the room will not appear.
