Secret characters in versus mode
When your in versus mode, press Select on Yoh to obtain Zeke. Then press Select on Meril to obtain Masked Meril. Then press Select on Kanna to obtain Matilda, or press Select again to obtain Marion Fauna.

Alternate endings
To view the good ending, beat the last Boss normally. In order to see the bad ending, beat the last Boss with a map weapon.

Versus mode
Finish every twenty episode in story mode completely. The versus mode option will now be available at the main menu. You can now play as Vineuvail, Zerumo, Lyserg, Heckel, Tao Len, Faust VIII, Ruby, Kanna, Lee Pai Long, Trey, Zaua, Meril, Rio, and Yoh. You also receive one random secret character, like Silva or Zeke.

Hints & Tips

Level 19: Easy completion
When your using Yoh's friends, beat the three Millennium Force members by holding up the barrier. Only use Yoh, move next to Masked Maril. Instead of battling her, go into Yoh's options. There will be an extra action called "Persuade". Now use it, and Yoh will start to fight Maril. Manage to get Maril down to half health to finish the level.

Hint: Level 20: Easy completion
Note: There are two different endings for this level. To receive a good ending, do not use a map-type weapon or special ability. To receive a bad ending, simply use a map-type weapon or a special. First thing is to use Yoh's friends to beat the Millennium Force leaders. You can also use Yoh, as long as he is not killed. You do not have to beat any of the leader's henchmen. It is suggested that somebody stay with Yoh. Next, you must fight Zeobide. Make sure he does not fight you. It is suggested that you check his capability and remain well out of his attacking range, and attack when he is in range. It is also suggested that you use a Strength Talisman on Yoh and the person that is helping him. Then, you should save your progress. Next, fight Zeobide. Block every move of his and hit him at any chance. Do not kill Maril, or the game will be over. Do not use too much Furyuku, because you have to use an ultimate attack. When you have two Claws Of Venerability full with color, use Halo Blade, (L1 + R1 and Up). Just make sure Zeobide does not block it. A picture of Amedamaru and You should be shown. Zeobide will lose plenty of health, but most likely will not die. When he is down, run up to him. When he is back up, keep on hitting him. Do not let him to hit you, If done right, Zeobide will die and you will finish the game. Do not turn off your game. Now save your game and go to the main menu. Versus mode will now be available. You can change a few players by pressing Select on them.

Yoh: Halo Blade
You will learn this special move after you have read the Tome Of The Shaman. Then press L1 + R1, Up to preform it.

Getting enough energy for Halo Blade
Make sure you have plenty of Furyoku in the bar. Also, your Furyoku in the circle has to be in the red. Note: In order to make the ball go red, preform a normal punch Square or keep on blocking there attacks. But do not block for too long or you will be KOed.
