Groove radar values
First select a difficulty setting, then hold Start just prior to the song selection screen appears. If timed properly, numbers will appear on the groove radar, indicating the groove value of each song.

Clear 40 stages in arcade mode.

View song list
At the song selection menu hold Left + Right + Start. Then choose one of the category letters to see songs that start with that letter.

Hints & Tips

Resort songs
In order to put the songs in alphabetical order, press Start when you are at the song selection screen.

Unlock songs faster
This trick need's a controller with an auto-fire feature. Then set a game to play in Event mode and start a Versus game at any difficulty, but not the Oni mode. Then use a method of your choice, then hold X or Circle for a length of time at the song selection screen. Songs that can be available by playing a number of songs should be available after one and a half hours. Note: This will affect the Best rating of one song; this likely being the default song.

Easier game
To finish the songs easier, enable the "Extra options" code, then choose "Little" at the cheat menu. Also, to access songs easier, play the game in light mode.

Unlocking new songs and Oni courses
To have new items available, modes, songs, and Oni courses, you must obtain a certain amount of points. After the credits begin, the game shows how many points needed for the next available bones. The ranks below will earn the mentioned amount of points:

AAA: 10 Points
AA: 8 Points
A: 6 Points
B: 4 Points
C: 3 Points
D: 2 Points
E: 1 Point

The is relevant in challenge mode. However, because you can only miss four steps per song, then the only rating you can get per song is "AAA", "AA", "A", or "E". Also, if two people are playing, you each get points.
