Play as Fake Crash
Manage to obtain over 50 boosts on a track as Team Cortex in adventure mode.

Play as N. Trophy
Beat all N. Trophy ghost racers in race time trial mode.

Play as Polar
Acquire one Blue Gem

Play as Dingodile
Acquire one Red Gem

Play as Emperor Velo
Finish the game 100% as Team Cortex in adventure mode. Note: You may have to play an earlier game as Team Bandicoot.

Play as Zam
Acquire one Purple Gem.

Play as Zem
Acquire one Green Gem.

Hyper Spaceway track
Place first in all sixteen races in adventure mode. This also includes the four Boss races as well as the twelve normal races. You will then be challenged by Velo to a race on the Hyper Spaceway track, which will now become available in the other modes.

Terra Drome track
Acquire all purple tokens in adventure mode.

Play as Pura
Acquire over 50 boosts on any track as Team Bandicoot in adventure mode.

Play as Real Velo
Acquire two Scepters.

Team Bandicoot
Challenging Krunk: Win three trophies.
Krunk Loses: Get one key.
Challenging Nash: Win six trophies.
Nash Loses: Get two keys.
Challenging Norm: Win nine trophies.
Norm Loses: Get three keys.
Challenging Geary: Win twelve trophies.
Geary Loses: Get four keys.
Challenging Velo: Get four keys.
Losing to Velo: Get four keys.
Beat Velo without 100%: Get four keys.
Beat Velo with 100%: Get four keys, thirteen Relics, and one Scepter.

Hints & Tips

Deep Sea Driving: Shortcut
In this track you will come to three boosts in a row. On the third boost, jump to the right. You should land on a platform. You can use this if you want to cut that corner.

Hyper Spaceway: Shortcut
After the boosts with the fire part, you will pass through a warp and come out in a mountainous region. After a few jumps, move to the left side of the ledge. Before the final jump, turn sharply to the right. You will drive off a ramp that will take you to the next part. Be sure you use jump boosts or you will not make it.

Jungle Boogie: Shortcut
Roughly halfway through the track you will see a piece of hanging track on the left. Go directly next to it and hold R1. Make sure your car goes on the track. This is really useful in time trial mode, as there are a couple of boxes up there.

Finding shortcuts
To locate a shortcut, look for a large red arrow with a yellow outline. Most of these arrows let you go through them or under, the opposite direction, or around them. Be careful, as sometimes when you notice them too late there is not enough time to locate or get the shortcut.

Android Alley: Shortcut
If you acquire a boost weapon, keep it. Roughly halfway through the track you will see a corner with a little missing off the fence. Use the boost weapon and drive through the window. Use this if you want to cut that corner. Also, Aka Aka, Uka Uka, or Emperor Velo will work for this trick.

Clockwork Wumpa: Shortcut
Go past the gears that splatter you if you happen to get to close. When you go in the clock tower, do not go left. Instead, go straight, jump on the gear, then follow the rest of the gears. This helps when you are trying to beat N. Tropy's ghost.

Inferno Island: Token letter
To receive the CNK token letter that you see in the air in this race, after you have gone over the first bridge, locate an opening between the end of the bridge and the wall. Drive into the water nearest to the wall and you should come out on top. Note: Do not use this as a fast cheat because it takes time for Aka Aka (or Uka Uka and Emperor Velo) to get you there.

Jungle Boogie: Token letter
In the race you will see a track with a fence in the air. Use the hill to jump on it. There is a CNK token letter up there.
