Hints & Tips
Boardwalk: Easier points
After you have accessed the secret area, you can go
to a tall spiral lighthouse. Then go inside this lighthouse. The bottom
is hollowed out. Get some speed up from the halfpipes outside
the entrance then go into the lighthouse and hit one of the walls
at a slight angle. Start wallriding up the middle, continually jumping
and wall riding again around the inside walls. When you get roughly
half-way up the inside, slow down your jumping so that instead
of climbing up you are just wall riding around in an endless loop.
You can get your multiplier up to 199X and do a trick that is worth 30
million points. This is also good for getting up your Wallri,
Fakie, and Speed stats.
At the area boardwalk with the shark ride, you can grind the outside
lights for a near unlimited amount of time, jumping every time you reach
one of the straight segments. There is potential to get over 1.5 million
points.
Proceed to the roller coaster and jump on the track. Then grind either the
two middle rails or the rail on the far right. Jump up and down
continuously until you want to jump off. This will allow you to
finish some objectives on that level and also get a large
amount of points in case you run out of juice.
Flatland: The curious lookround
While you are blading on Flatland, make sure you are not pressing
X
then press
L1
+
R1. Your character
will peer over their shoulder and turn, however it is not however a Cess Slide.
Handgrind

Boardwalk: Hidden grind
When you are on the roller coaster track, press
Up(3x's),
Grind
to preform a "double grind". You need to be
close to the tracks, since you are grinding both tracks at the same
time.
Added points
To rack up a large rotation combo, go into a wide bowl
or any place where you can preform a continuous grind without jumping
to a different track. Grind, then jump. Now hold either
L1
or
R1
to do a rotation, then land back into the grind.
Keep doing this in the same direction (L1
or
R1).
This will make it possible to get high rotations accumulated.
Just watch your grind meter tho it can go haywire with more tricks.
To do a near-infinite handstand combo, go up to a quarter or halfpipe
in any level. Do a normal handstand, rocket, abstract, etc. Hold Down to make the meter go down, causing your handplant
to end, but the trick is to keep pressing
Grind
continually.
As you get better, you can do up to a 50 trick combo.
Note:
This
will not always work.
Go up any quarterpipe and preform any tricks you want. Then do the Cess Slide
after your wheels hit the ground and try not to combo it with
your tricks.
Locate a half-pipe or a bowl and preform some tricks. Before you land, preform a
Cess Slide into a Manual. The trick will keep going, and if you have enough
skills, you can do it as long as you like.
You can do this trick fresh. You will not need to use a
cheat, and you can do it with all your stat levels at zero. Locate
a rail. Straight, level, and long ones will work the best, like
the long benches between the purple octopus and the water in the
Boardwalk level. Stand still at a 45 degree angle from the bench
and press
Triangle. You will start grinding slowly.
You may have to jump if you try it any other place. While grinding,
rapidly press
Triangle
and press
Left
and
Right
(D-pad
suggested) to keep your balance. As long as you
keep pressing
Triangle
and keep yourself balanced, the
game will count plenty of grinds; each raises your multiplier.
You will be making a lot of small adjustments to keep your balance,
so the multiplier will raise quickly. It is important that
you go as slow as you can, so that you do not run out of grinding
surface. When you feel that you have gotten enough points, press
X
to jump off and land the trick. With practice, you can
get well over 1 million points.
Flying Handplant
When you are going off a ramp, hold
X. Then once you
approach the top, do a handplant and at the same time let go of
X.
Hand Grind
Jump, press
Down(3x's), and grind.
Museum: Ark Of The Covenant
The Ark of the Covenant can be located in the back area.
Go up top the set of three quarter pipes hanging from the ceiling.
Handplant the Ark to get a good view.
Museum: Secret grind
When you are on the display cases that are somewhat pyramidal,
press
Up(3x's),
Grind
to do a "double grind". |
