Hints & Tips
Defend Solar Power Plant mission: Secret Part
After you bbeat every enemy on the outside of
the power plant, you should receive a notice about enemies inside
the plant after you go in. Clear the first floor. When you go
down the ramp at the end of the first part, you will see a fork.
Go to the left. There should be the part at the end of the room.
The room is on fire. The secret part is the KWEL-EJ22 anti-missile.
Destroy AI Prototype mission: Secret part
On the ground in a small room closed off by destroyable
gates is the left arm part KSS-SS/707A.
Defend Lawdas Factory mission: Secret part
When the big laser destroys the missile in the center
of the map, jump down and look for the part. The part is an extension
CWEM-RT16.
Defend Mirage HQ mission: Secret part
When the mission starts, turn around and boost towards
the helicopter landing site. Look around the landing site to find
the back stealth missile, MWM-SM36.
There is a back part on the roof where the MWM-SM36/1 stealth
missiles can be located.
Explore Unexplored Region mission: Secret part
Go into the crater to come across a plane. Shoot the back
end of the plane to destroy that section. Inside the plane is
the back part MWC-OC/30.
Infiltrate New Base mission: Secret part
In a cave in the center of the map is the extension
part MWEM-R/36.
Investigate mission
Go to the first door, access the control panel, then
search for the second one. In the room where there is a ventilation
duct, shoot the duct. Fly up, then go down into the other room
it goes to. Destroy every box to find the left arm part KWG-NHZL60.
Destroy Cargo Transport mission: Secret part
Use a fast AC for this mission. When you see the
first intersection, instead of turning right with the transport,
turn left and jump behind the center barricade and get the part.
It is the inside floating mine, CWI-FMHS-30.
Eliminate Bio Weapon mission: Secret part
At the first room, turn left and keep shooting all
over the wall. When you uncover a secret passage, follow it to
the part. It is a PRAYYING BLADE.
Eliminate Rioters mission: Secret part
When you get to the most top level and enter, a box
will be destroyed by enemies. On the floor is the inside part
KWL-RJ/60.
Search Vilius Laboratory mission: Secret part
Search the bottom of the deepest pit to locate a part
guarded by a MT. It is the left arm part MWG-KPL/150.
Secure Fortress NK-432 mission: Secret parts
Locate the room filled with plenty of boxes. Do not destroy
any boxes with red triangles or any boxes on top of red triangle
boxes (the top box destroys the one under it.). The right
arm part MWG-GS/80 can now be found on the ground. Use your map
near the first target to reveal a secret passage behind the wall.
Destroy that part of the wall and follow the secret passage until
you reach a room with one box. Destroy the box to find the head
part MHD-MX/BEE.
Takeover New Fortress mission: Secret part
When you fight against the two ACs fly up into the
giant hole in the ceiling. When you look up, there should be a
pipe that runs from one side to the other. On top of the pipe
is the FCS part PLS-SRA02.
Protect Part Transport mission: Secret parts
Wait until the plane has landed, then get behind the it.
Shoot the back end until the door explodes. Then press
Circle
next to the part to get the right arm part CWG-ARF-180.
When the mission starts, turn around and make your way to the left storage
room. Go inside and get the part. It is the left grenade rifle
CWGG-GRSL-20.
Safeguard Alloy Sample: Secret part
Destroy every enemy MTs and the AC Grinder. The Transport
Truck must survive to the Crest's Headquarters. After the mission
is over, you will receive new mail from Crest stating that you will
get the extension part booster CEBT-HEX.
Easier Arena wins
Select the Trene City area. When the battle starts,
there is a big building in the middle of the Arena floor.
Boost up to the top of the building and assault the opponent AC
full of rockets or other types of ammunition that can lock on.
If you are unable to boost up the whole way, there is a ledge
halfway up. Rest there a second, then boost the rest of the
way. Weapons that are the most effective are the small rockets
and/or vertical missiles. There are some enemies that are too
quick to do this to. They move to much to get a lock on. If this
occurs, when you start, boost West and position yourself in between
two buildings close to the border. Most of the enemy ACs
will not go behind because they will lose. They will just move
back and forth trying to get a fix, but will not come near you
if you are very close to the border. Pop in and out from behind
the building and shoot various rockets and missiles as the ACs
are moving around. It is a bit time consuming, but a very easy
way to boost ranks early.
Take your opponent to the Arena stage. Have Hectos Rockets and
the left hand grenade launcher equipped. When the battle starts,
start stepping backwards, making sure not to turn or alter where
the aimer is pointed. Change weapons to the Hectos Rockets and
keep firing those with the grenade launchers. The opponent will
just follow your steps, and will not move from the line of fire.
If they get too close, start to fight normally they will have
low AP at this point of the fight.
Hydraulics
Attain a robot with the tank wheels. Then press
X
continually
and it appear as if the robot has hydraulics.
Bonus parts
For every mission you get an "A" or "S"
rank on, you will receive a special bonus part.

Op-Intensify (All Abilities): Obtain 99% completion of the game.
Easier money
Locate any mission that has an advance payment. Start
the mission and without delay abort it. After this is done, you
will see your earnings displayed in two boxes. One box is for
your new money amount that was earned and one for the deductions
for repairs, ammunition, and the special deduction in the event
that something was destroyed that was not supposed to be. Note that
there is no deduction, and you will get the amount that was promised
to you in advance. Make sure to save your game before you try this,
as the game will end if this is done too often.
Big missile warning
Never use the big missile for the back unit with the
extension for vertical missiles you will just blow up your missile
when you launch it.
Prototype parts
If you use a certain type of leg part (light weight
leg, middle weight leg, hover, etc.) for enough missions, a "prototype"
part will be available in the shop. The prototypes are normally good. This may
also be the case with other parts also.

Note: Although this AC design is not one of the
swiftest, its high
AP of 9525, large store of missiles and ammunition, as well as
missile decoys to evade on-coming enemy missiles, make it a difficult opponent. Also, the Over Boost feature on the AC's core
make it very mobile in the hands of an experienced player. Though
not suggested for missions, considering the high cost of its
large missile salvos, it is an excellent Arena AC, and is able
to meet the challenge of all Arena participants. Using all of
the assets found on this particular AC is suggested, especially
its Over Boost (in short bursts), which it tends to rely on heavily
for improved mobility.

Finishing the game before
you use this AC is suggested, due to knowing what you are up
against in the sorties (missions). You have a fixed amount of
ammo; do not miss and you will be just fine. The usage drain from boosting
is not too bad. The cooling is better. The only downfall is when
over shooting the Karasawa. Keep track of your booster gauge,
and when it gets too low, let off. It will regain very fast.

game. When you are using the Karasawa, Jump Boost to not waste your energy

your opponent. The Vertical Missiles can be used to flush out

Note: This is a god AC. Though it is rated "Fair",
it is a very good mix of speed, strength, and defense. Its machine
guns act as quick fire weapons if you are on the run and its missiles
make up for what it loses in long range capabilities. Though the
machine guns seem a bit weak, they are the best and most accurate weapon
if used properly. This is a great AC for certain missions and
for most Arena challenges.

3. It is good for both missions that need tanks and arena
fights. The KARASAWA gives good firepower and can be used as much
as you like since tanks do not use much energy. The grenades
are great AC killers and of course do a lot of damage against
targets such as the big flying MT in the Test New Technology mission.
It moves slow, but overboosting in short bursts and the weapons
themselves can make up for that. It has over 9000 AP and an overall
rating of "Excellent".

Note: With the proper amount of speed, power, and the skill of
a veteran Raven, you can be unstoppable. Shinobi has 7,110 AP
and has a grade of "Good". The R Back unit MWC-LQ/15
gives him a good kick and the 800 round machine gun hardly lets
you run out of ammunition. The Crow keeps ypu safe from most enemy

Note: Some of the parts are from Armored Core 3. Other
parts are only available from Silent Line. For this AC
to function you need to have enhanced cannon performance
for OP-Intensify. It would also improve its handling if you had
the enhanced booster performance. This AC has 8754 AP, it is very fast,
and with its powerful booster you can dodge missiles fired
at you easily. The grenade cannon on its back does not have as slow a
fire rate as the more powerful grenade cannon, but still packs
a nice punch for taking out tougher opponents. The slug gun
on the back does nice damage at close range and is an added insurance
that you will hit the target. With this AC's extension you can
turn towards him a lot faster, which helps in close range or
if someone is behind you. The machine gun on the right and left
arms are best used at the same time while boosting sideways so
you have better accuracy; they really strip the AP.

to get. This AC has good combos for shooting: Use the Back

EO. It will run other AC's AP down fast. You may also use the
grenade launcher on the left arm. It will run down even quicker.
It can kill any AC in less than a minute. However, this
AC is really low in mobility.
