Every FMV sequence
Start a game using the quake3.exe +seta g_spVideos "\tier1\1\tier2\2\tier3\3\tier4\4\tier5\5\tier6\6\tier7\7\tier8\8" command line.

Cheat mode
Bring up the console at any point in your game. Then type in /sv_cheats 1 then type in /devmap <map name>

Use the one of the values below for <map name>:
q3dm<1-18> or q3tourney<1-6>
Or use any custom map and leave off the map extension *.bsp

Your game will load in single-player mode with the current settings of the bot variables, and cthe heat mode is enabled. Type in one of the console commands below to activate the desired cheat. Note: The heats will not work for the demo version.

1. The Grenade Launcher and the BFG10K weapons that are accessed by this code work, but the graphics are fuzzy. It will appear that your character is not holding any weapon when they are used.
2. Set it to 0 to fly, 800 is the default.

Hints & Tips

Key binding for cheats
You can have a cheat or command assigned to any key. Use one of the cheats above or any command for <cmd>. Then use a key or button for <key/button>. You can do more than one command on a key.

bind <key/button> <cmd>
bind <key/button> <cmd> ; <cmd>

Here is an example: bind F9 give all or bind F9 give all ; god

Note: This will change any command on that key. This will also save it to the game.

Unlimited Quad Damage and other power-ups
Bind Quad Damage to a key. Like this: /bind 1 give quad damage. Then, hold down the key until the symbol and the number go away. In time they may return. Then hold the key down again. This trick will also work for the Battle Suit, Regeneration, Invisibility, and Flight.

Cheats in multi-player
To use cheat mode without being in single player mode, start a game, bring up the console window, and type /devmap <map name>, then press [Enter]. The level will start with cheat mode enabled.

Edit number of awards
Note: This involves editing a game file so make a backup copy of the file before going on. Then use a text editor to edit the "config.cfg" file in the game directory. Find the list of the tiers that you have won. Now under this list are listed your decorations/awards, which can be changed.

Record your own demos
Go a map press ~ to bring up the console window and type /g_syncronousClients 1. Then, type /record <demo name>. A console window message stating "recording <demo name> to baseq3 demos" will be shown. When done you can stop it by clicking on "Leave Arena". To play them go to the main menu and click on "Demos". Search for the name of your demo, click on it, and click "Play". You can do this in both single player and multi-player modes.

Have opponents to lose points on the Appolips Void
Just go to the railgun platform. When someone comes on one of the two raising platforms, jump. Be sure someone is on the platform or you will lose health, even if you happen to land on them. They will get 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, -1 to nine. You will be in the lead.

General strategy
Remember to always strafe in a circle around whoever you are shooting. Do not stop moving. Try to get the rocket launcher first, then jump and zig-zag run to avoid being shot. Use the plasma gun when you have quad damage since it shoots fastest and can hold plenty of ammo. Run backwards away from people and shoot them at same time.

Stop Xearo from getting the BFG10K
In order to stop Xearo from getting the BFG10K, while he is on his way to grab it shoot the target to squish him or have him fall into the wrong place.
