Making sharp turns (keyboard)
Keep on holding the accelerator, press the brake, turn the way you want to go until pointed right, then let go of the brake.

Making sharp turns (joystick)
Pull Down on the joystick while your turning in the direction you want to wish to until pointed right, then press Up.
