Cheat Mode
First open Steam, go to your "Play Games" menu, and select Half-Life 2: Episode One. Then rRight click on it and select "Properties". Then click the "Launch Options" button and type -console. Now click "Ok", then close it. Double click "Half-Life 2: Episode One" to start your game. When it is loaded and you are playing, press ~ to show the console window. Then, type sv_cheats 1 press [Enter] to enable the cheat mode. You can now type in the codes below at the console window. The code scan be used as a command line parameter by placing the "-" character before them. Note: For the games that are downloaded from Steam and to use the cheats in single player mode, start a game with the -applaunch -dev -tconsole command line parameter.
