Cheat mode Note:
This cheat involves editing a game file so make a backup copy of
the file before going on. Then use a text editor to edit the
"*.plr" file that matches your player in the game folder. Next
add the lines below under the "[GAMEOPTIONS]" header.
In doing this will it unlock the
Medical and Safety cars, the 2-seater training car from the
school mode, different backgrounds in menus, and marks the 3
training school phases as passed.
More qualifying runs While your in qualifying, you will have to do a minimum of
three laps to reach a qualifying time. Since you only have
twelve laps to use, you can create more qualifying runs by
pressing [Esc]
the second that you cross the start/finish line after your timed
lap. This will allow a maximum of six qualifying runs instead of
the usual four. This will also have the benefit of allowing you
to only put in two laps worth of fuel, making your car lighter
and faster. By using this trick you should be able to get a
Minardi on pole position.
