During your first experience in the
waking world, don't forget to pick up the jar of noxious thinner
sitting on the table next to Uncle Edwin's easel.
To locate the object portals to the
Cask of Amontillado tale, go into the upstairs conservatory (the
room with the piano) while in the "blue" tale mode. Walk to the
window, turn left, then look down.
The Cask of Amontillado
While in Fortunato's point of view (who
you become if you jump through the wine glass portal in the 2nd
floor conservatory), be sure to take these steps during the
initial bridge scene: walk up to the Sycophant (the short,
smartly dressed chap with the long nose and medallion necklace)
and turn left. Click on the figure on the shore in the distance.
This allows you to leave the bridge.
The Tell-Tale Heart
In the murderer's point of view, the
lantern can only be taken from the shelf if its shutter is
completely closed. (You wouldn't want to disturb the old man
prematurely, would you?)
Berenice:
In Egaeus' point of view, after you
propose to Berenice and she faints, complete these steps to
witness a hallucinatory change in the room's paintings: caress
the fan on the small table next to the overstuffed chair, caress
a landscape painting, and caress the window next to the
landscape paintings. Then, move back to look at the landscape
paintings or to the view in the center of the room where you can
see all three portraits.
