Enable cheat mode
Note: This cheat involves modifying a game file makee a backup copy of the file before going on. Now use a text editor to edit the "z.cfg" file in the "daggerfall" directory. Then add the line cheatmode 1 to the file.

Activate all maps
Just press [Ctrl] + [F1].

5000 gold
Just press [Ctrl] + [F9].

Screenshots
Make a directory named "pics" in the "dagger" directory. Then press \ to save up to ten screenshots.

God mode
Just press [Ctrl] + [F4] while your in a dungeon to turn God mode on.

Return to last position
Just press [Alt] + [F11] to return to the last location where your character was standing. Also press this key combination many times if your character falls into a pit.

Cycle through quest locations
Just press [Left Bracket] or [Right Bracket].

Raise stats (alternate)
Just press [F5] to show the stats screen. Then click on a stat and position the mouse to where the bonus point icon normally appears. Click where the up arrow normally appears to add up to six points to the selected stat. Then exit the screen and repeat this to add more points. Note: This code can only be used on the original version of the game.

Travel six times faster
Just press 1.

Raise reputation
Just press [Minus] to raise your reputation in every skill by 5.

Raise stats
Just press [Plus] to increase every stat by 1.

Easy spells
Type $ as the first character of a spell name to expend 25% of normal when your casting. Or type ! as the first character of a spell name to use 0% of normal, but with a limit of casting the spell just once a day.

Repair magic items
